Sometimes increasing or decreasing the Exposure by 1/3 stop is too much. Shift-Click on the 1/3 buttons to get an increment half that value (1/6th adjustment). This is very nice when just a subtle adjustment is needed.

I tried to set the black point this way, by selecting the desired photos and double-clicking the word “Blacks”. In the Develop module this will automatically set the black point. When done in Grid mode in Quick Develop, LR told me it updated the blacks for the correct number of images but when I go into Develop, there is no change and no record in the history that this was done. Any idea why this indicates it is doing something when it does not?

I usually just skip over them and go right to develop module.

Did you intend to keep the “false start” of the tip in the video? I did like to see a sort of behind the scenes in how you make these whether or not that was intentional.
